A wedding party is provided with spacious beautifully decorated changing rooms, a living room area that opens to a balcony overlooking the mountains and the pavilion area. A private restroom with a make-up vanity is also provided. Also included is the use of the grounds and waterfall feature for photos with a romantic gazebo for wedding ceremonies. The main facility includes a 20 foot stage for a wedding ceremony, (use for a band, DJ or presentations for other events), a large Tennessee fieldstone fireplace, and a 16 foot serving bar. At no additional cost, we provide you with wedding white chairs and 60 inch round tables for up to 200 people sit down, in the pavilion area. We also provide necessary buffet and cake tables, as well as other miscellaneous items for your event. All mentioned items are set up, arranged and taken down for you by the RVF staff. Our staff is on site at all times to monitor and assist during each event.

Does RVF provide buffet and cake tables?
RVF provides buffet and cake tables with set up and take down at no additional charge.

What about chairs at the gazebo?
Our wedding white chairs can be set up for your ceremony at the gazebo and later taken down at the rate of $1.00 per chair. (Unless otherwise included in your RVF contract.)

What hours do we have to choose from for our event?
You may choose your designated hours for your event between 10:00 AM and 11:00 PM. All exterior facility doors must be closed if an event is extended beyond 9:00 PM. After your event time ends, we do allow an additional 1 1/2 hours for departure photos, guest departure, and time for you to gather any items that you do not want us to dispose of.

Does RVF handle the trash from the catering and the event?
Yes, RVF handles this during and after each event.

Do you charge our vendors/ caterers a surcharge for using RVF's facility?
No, we do not.

Does RVF provide tablecloths?
RVF provides tablecloths for your event for an additional fee. Tablecloths are placed on our 60" round tables by our staff, and we assist your florist with the placement of your table décor.

Does the RVF staff bus tables and cut the wedding or groom's cake?
No, these are items that you should discuss with your caterer.

Can we serve alcohol?
Alcohol may be served through Ridge Valley Farm's referred licensed and insured bartender. This eliminates the need for you to purchase an individual insurance policy for liquor liability. Our referred bartender has extremely reasonable rates and is available for assistance with recommending and purchasing wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages.

Is there parking?
Yes, RVF has paved complementary parking for 200 plus guests. RVF representatives greet and direct parking for all arrivals, as well as departures.

What restroom facilities does RVF have?
RVF has two restrooms designated for the bridal party separate from the very nice, spacious two stall men and women's restrooms in the pavilion area. Changing areas are included for infants in the guest restrooms.

If we are having our ceremony at the gazebo, what can be done in the case of rain?
Our climate controlled, glass enclosed, pavilion areas are equally as romantic as our gazebo when using the stage, fireplace or mountain views for your ceremony.

Is there electricity at the gazebo?
Yes, there is electricity at the gazebo for a microphone, electric keyboard, etc.

Can we have a band or a DJ?
Yes, RVF approved or referred band's and/ or DJ's are permitted.

Can we use your sound system?
RVF's sound system is only used by a RVF representative and we will provide light classical or jazz music only during the period of time that your guests are arriving.

Can we use candles?
Yes, candles can be used with the approval from an RVF representative.

Can we use sparklers, rice or confetti?
RVF currently only approves the use of real flower petals or bubbles.

Is there a wedding rehearsal fee?
There is a $100.00 fee for a one and a half hour rehearsal at RVF.

Does a representative from RVF coordinate our wedding, wedding rehearsal and/ or event?
It is essential that someone other than the bride, or the mother of the bride, coordinates or directs a wedding and reception. A RVF director/coordinator can be assigned to assist every bride and groom for a very low fee. All of our clients at RVF have raved about this friendly and efficient assistance before, and throughout their event, that made their special day complete.

Can we decorate during our rehearsal time?
Decorating hours can be purchased in addition to your rehearsal time, however, this is usually not necessary as there is adequate time to decorate the day of your event. RVF's natural outdoor beauty keeps decorating at a minimum. Decorations, food items and wedding wear may be brought in and secured at the time of your rehearsal

Where do the children in our wedding party change?
There is a nicely decorated changing area and restroom downstairs for children to prepare for the wedding with adult supervision. Children under the age of 13 will not be permitted upstairs in the bridal changing area.

Is there a retainer fee needed to hold our wedding date at RVF?
Yes, there is a non-refundable retainer fee, however if you must cancel or postpone your event your deposit will transfer to another available date.

Is an appointment necessary to view the facilities at RVF?
Yes, RVF provides two complementary appointments to visit the facilities and grounds. Additional appointments prior to your event can be arranged at reasonable additional fees. After a contract has been signed, engagement photos on RVF grounds are complementary.

Is it possible to have a horse and carriage on the grounds for our event?
Yes, a horse and carriage company is permitted to use our grounds for photos, arrivals, and departures at any event. A Ridge Valley Farms representative is able to provide you with information concerning horse and carriage companies.
